
Victor De Vera, BSN, RN, CCRN-CMC
Victor De Vera is a 2nd year Student Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Texas Christian University. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2021 at Texas Woman’s University and worked in a Surgical ICU in Dallas, TX, for four years. Victor has maintained certifications in critical care nursing and cardiac medicine through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) since 2022. In addition, Victor served as chair of his unit-based council for two years, leading several quality improvement projects focused on delirium prevention, staff belongingness, and CLABSI reduction. While at UTSW, Victor served as a preceptor, completed a clinical ladder portfolio, and was nominated and selected as a UTSW Strauss Award winner in Q1 2024. Victor is excited to be a part of FANAS and become more involved in the CRNA profession.
